Kenyan Political arena

Our Politics is of immediate gratification- to both the voter and the aspirant. 'Utaweka nini kwa meza' loosely translated as what can you put on the table. The seasoned politicians, who are tribal kingpins, also peddle such when negotiating for political deals and the highest bidder gets his followers (sells his voters for personal gains). The young blooded politicians- not fresh as they portray - do not have the will power to fight the temptations, they are being manipulated, bought out and outsmarted like stooges. They keep changing political outfits faster than they change their pants, making them look like like half baked individuals or rather dimwits who are not sure of what they seek.

All the top three contenders have nothing to give other than serve their selfish interest and avenge their enemies. The young and the restless want to control, expand and protect their ill acquired wealth by obtaining power.  They bore us with speeches laden with hate that they have been preaching for the last decade. They wont and never will teach us how to fish.
Majority of the voters are semi-illiterate socially and economically and that is why it takes less than a dollar to bag their votes. The educated ones are busy doing their daily chores disregarding their importance in helping others make rightful decision and most of them wont participate in the elections.

So as it is right now, do your thing and don't complain later on!!
